“To design is much more than simply to assemble, to order, or even to edit: it is to add value and meaning, to illuminate, to simplify, to clarify, to modify, to dignify, to dramatize, to persuade and perhaps even to amuse. To design is to transform prose into poetry.” - Paul Rand
Thank god it's friday!!!!
Today is an early release day. Therefore we're going to jump into a new project!
But before we do, please save your .swf file to my public folder by connecting to my computer.
Once that's finished we're going to move onto the sign press. What I'd like you to do is create one word from wood type and or metal type and print on a laser color print of one of your panoramas.
I would also like you to print out oxford county fair, the date and your name on a piece of chipboard the size of 6x6 or smaller.
You're then going to print out your fair pics to fit within a 5.5 x 5.5 document set up and add text in the computer about your pic. Once you're done, you're gong to print each page out, cut the down and bind them with the letterpressed cover you made.
Have fun.
